Non Emulisifiers
Non Emulsifier
SHI-121NE is a nonionic non-emulsifier designed for application in fracturing operations. The product effectively breaks water blocks and prevents or removes crude oil in water emulsions. It functions by reducing the interfacial tension between brines and crude oils. The product has proven to have broad spectrum performance in a wide variety of crudes throughout world. Non-Emulsifier products are field proven, proprietary formulations of blended nonionic surfactants added into the stimulation fluids to reduce the emulsion tendency of fluids with residual oils in formation. Water-based fracturing fluids can form emulsions with the residual oil in the formation during or after fracturing or into the stimulation fluids to reduce the emulsion tendency of fluids with residual oils in formation. The main function of a non-emulsification agent is to break such an emulsion in-situ before the stimulated well is put back to production. Another function of the non-emulsifier is to speed up the separation of water and oil from the initial well flow-back fluid.

Surface Tension Reducer
Surface Tension Reducer is a specially formulated surfactant that considerably reduces solution surface tension for various types of acids, as well as water-based fracturing fluids and brines. It is a non-ionic surfactant, which allows exceptionally low surface tensions to be achieved in comparison to many other types of surfactants currently available. The unique processing of this product has enabled the formulation of an extremely effective surfactant which, when used at low concentrations allows surface tension reductions.
